The fourth season of Wentworth wasted no time drumming up the drama. The episode provided a forecast into future episodes and conflicts, which will likely ensue. Bea will be pitted against Kaz and Allie, while Franky seems to have her own enemies on the outside. As for Vera, she seems to be digging herself into a hole with Joan and she may never be able to wiggle her way out of it. The episode set the mood and it was not cheerful. In fact, I am beginning to agree with Bea that something bad is headed our way.
New castmembers this season are Kate Jenkinson as Allie Novak, who appears from episode one, and Bernard Curry as Jake Stewart and Sigrid Thornton as Sonia Stevens, who are introduced later in the season.
